Cookie choices at a glance. Essential technology may operate where it is needed to provide a service you request. We obtain consent before using advertising, cross-site tracking, profiling, or other non-essential technology where consent is required. A specific website may not use every category described below.
Scope of this Policy
This Cookie Policy applies to websites, digital portals, landing pages, mobile interfaces and online enquiry forms operated or powered by Zentrix Digital Holdings Limited and used in partnership with Gordon Sadler Travel.
This includes the DealsHub network, conversational travel discovery platforms, specialist websites such as NoFlyCruising, UltraLuxuryCruiseWorld and WineCruiseEurope, and related campaign pages or regional domains.
Because the technology used can differ between platforms, the cookie notice or preference panel shown on a particular website should identify the technologies active on that website. This central policy explains the principles and categories used across the network.
Back to top ↑What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your computer, tablet or mobile device by a website. Cookies can remember preferences, maintain security, help forms work, measure website usage or support advertising.
Similar technologies can store information on, or access information from, your device in other ways. They include local storage, software development kits, tracking pixels, tags, scripts, device identifiers and some forms of fingerprinting. In this policy, “cookies” includes these similar storage and access technologies unless the context says otherwise.
A first-party cookie is set by the website you are visiting. A third-party cookie is set by another organisation whose service is used by that website.
Back to top ↑When Consent Is Required
UK rules governing cookies and similar technologies are principally found in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR). Where cookie information identifies or relates to a person, UK data protection law may also apply.
We provide clear information about the purpose of relevant technologies. We ask for a valid choice before using technologies that require consent, and we make declining non-essential technologies as straightforward as accepting them.
Consent is not always required. Current UK rules include exceptions for technology used solely to transmit a communication, technology that is strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user, qualifying statistical purposes, qualifying appearance or functionality preferences, and emergency assistance.
An exception applies only when all its conditions are met. If a use goes beyond the exception, we obtain consent before it begins.

Back to top ↑Cookie Details and Typical Duration
The specific names, providers and expiry periods can vary by platform and can change when a service is updated. Where a website uses a cookie preference panel, that panel should provide the current site-specific inventory.
| Category | Typical purpose | Typical duration | Default approach |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Security, routing, form delivery, consent records and service continuity | Session to 12 months | Active where necessary |
| Preferences and appearance | Remembering a user-selected language, layout or accessibility preference | Session to 12 months | Consent or permitted exception |
| Statistics and performance | Aggregate audience measurement, page performance and service improvement | Session to 14 months | Consent or permitted exception |
| Personalisation | Tailoring content based on behaviour or inferred interests | Up to 12 months | Off until consent |
| Advertising and conversion | Campaign attribution, audience building and cross-site advertising measurement | Session to 24 months | Off until consent |
“Session” means that the technology normally expires when you close your browser. A longer maximum period does not mean that every technology in that category is retained for that full period.
Back to top ↑Your Consent and Choices
Where consent is required, a website should provide controls that allow you to accept or decline non-essential categories before they operate. You should be able to revisit those controls and change your choice without detriment.
Withdrawing consent does not make earlier consent invalid. It prevents the relevant technology from being used for future activity on that device or browser, subject to the time needed to apply the change.
Changing a saved choice
Use the “Cookie settings”, “Privacy choices” or equivalent control on the website you are visiting. If that control is unavailable, clear the website’s cookies in your browser and reload the page to reset the consent choice.
Where we rely on the statistical or appearance exception rather than consent, we provide a simple and free way to object. An objection applies to the relevant website and browser unless stated otherwise.
Back to top ↑Statistics and Appearance Exceptions
Statistical purposes
A statistical-purpose exception may apply where technology is used solely to produce aggregate information about how a website or service is used so that it can be improved. It must not be used to identify, track or profile individuals, to make decisions about them, or for online advertising. Clear information and a simple, free means to object are required.
Appearance and functionality
An appearance exception may apply where technology is used to adapt a website’s appearance or functionality in line with a user preference, or otherwise enhance how it is displayed or accessed. Clear information and a simple, free means to object are also required.
If a technology has several purposes, we assess each purpose. We do not use an exception to cover a wider advertising, profiling or tracking purpose.
Back to top ↑Third-Party Technology and Embedded Content
Some platforms may use services supplied by other organisations. Examples include content-delivery networks, web fonts, maps, videos, conversational tools, customer-support services, analytics, payment services and marketing measurement.
When a third party sets or reads information on your device, it may act as a separate controller under its own privacy and cookie information. The site-specific cookie panel should identify relevant providers where these technologies are active.
External links take you to websites we do not control. Their cookie practices are governed by their own policies.
Back to top ↑Browser and Device Controls
Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies; block third-party cookies; clear cookies when the browser closes; and use a private-browsing mode. Your device may offer additional controls for app identifiers, tracking or advertising personalisation.
Blocking all cookies may affect features that rely on security, saved choices or form state. Browser controls operate separately from a website’s own preference panel.
- Google Chrome cookie controls
- Mozilla Firefox cookie controls
- Apple Safari cookie controls
- Microsoft Edge cookie controls
Browser Privacy Signals
Some browsers or extensions send signals such as “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control. These signals are not implemented consistently across websites or technologies.
Where a platform is configured to recognise a supported signal, we may use it as an objection or preference for relevant technology. You should still use the website’s cookie controls to confirm and manage your choice.
Back to top ↑Cookies on This Central Legal Site
At the date of this policy, the central legal site at legal.gordonsadlertravel.co.uk is designed as a static information service. It does not intentionally use advertising, personalisation or cross-site tracking cookies.
Standard web-server logs may record technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp for security, reliability and troubleshooting. The hosting provider may also use technology that is strictly necessary to deliver and protect the site.
If non-essential technology is added to the central legal site later, this policy and the available controls will be updated.
